ProLab Imaging has the reputation for producing the best Giclee prints locally and nationally. We produce beautiful and exact reproductions from original artwork and fabulous art prints for a wide range of artists, photographers and galleries.

ProLab Imaging is a third generation family business with a collective experience of 55 years in the Australian photographic and printing industry, embracing commercial and portrait photography, teaching, B&W and colour processing and printing.

OUR HISTORY

Kent Town ProLab was established by Robert Weverling in 1985, after a career in commercial photography. There he specialised in art reproduction, black & white film processing and printing. ProLab Imaging, conceived by Robert and his son Chris, is a further evolution of Kent Town Prolab, focusing on art reproduction and giclee printing.

INDUSTRY LEADING

ProLab Imaging was the first company in Adelaide to specialise in giclee printing. We follow all ICC colour management protocols and are at the forefront of advances in colour management and printing software. We also keep up to date with all the latest technological advances in cameras, scanning equipment and printers.

ART REPRODUCTION

Print on demand makes producing a limited edition print run a low cost, low risk investment that will help you earn more income from each piece of art you create. Our staff can walk you through the process from initial photography through colour consultation, paper selection, printing and finally signing, numbering and presenting your work.

At ProLab Imaging instead of just giving you a print, we proof, we discuss and advise – so we can work with you to get the print you want. We stock a range of top quality art papers, photographic papers and canvas, all of which are archival quality when combined with our pigment inks.
