Photographing Your Artwork

The first step to reproducing your artwork is the photography of the artwork.

For this process our weapon of choice is the Better Light Scan Back. It is simply the best there is. Mated only with Prolab Imaging's sharpest German lenses and the sturdiest Swiss view cameras, this device captures the translucency of watercolour, the startling vibrancy of pastels, and the mellow depths of oil, right down to the brushstroke.

Why is Better Light the best?

Large Pixels and lots of them. The native resolution of our camera is 144 Megapixels. Better Light scan backs use a Kodak tri linear sensor which samples RGB colour values at each pixel site. The result is a sharper image with no artifacts and superior colour accuracy.
